The RTS KP-612 and KP-412 12-position keypanels are available with pushbutton or lever key. These models fit in a standard 19” rack and are one rack space high. A desktop version is also available.
In addition, there are two encoders. One encoder is used for headset, microphone, auxiliary input, and matrix in volume adjustment. The other encoder knob used for menu selection. The KP-612 and KP-412 keypanels have a standard numerical keypad with four extra keys: Mic Mute, User Assignable, Page Up, and Page Down.
The KP-612 and KP-412 keypanels are made of pressed aluminum/metal and feature state-of-the-art audio processors and drivers. The KP-612 features a six character display, and the KP-412 features a four character display.
Optional RVON Cards are available to connect to RTS Voice-Over Network. more…
The RTS model PAM-16 keypanel fits in a standard 19” rack and is one rack space high. It has 16 push button keys used for monitoring audio inputs. The PAM-16 also has four character alphanumeric displays with adjustable brightness control, making it suitable for all types of ambient lighting: from direct sunlight to darkness.
The output of the PAM-16 can be connected to a monitor speaker or can be used to create a mix (minus audio) that can be sent back to the matrix as input for IFB’s. more…
Mystic, CT Nearly two decades after discovering the wreck of the world’s most famous ship, pre-eminent explorer and scientist Dr. Robert Ballard is set to revisit the 12,000-feet deep resting place of RMS Titanic in May and June 2004. From June 4th through June 9th, four live programs per day will be transmitted from the expedition to children across the country through Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration (MAIFE)’s Immersion Project in a series of programs entitled Titanic Live! On Monday, June 7th at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), the National Geographic Channel will nationally broadcast a one-hour special, “Return to Titanic”. Both the Titanic Live! and National Geographic Channel efforts will originate from aboard the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) research vessel Ronald H. Brown. The expedition benefits from the coordinated resources of the NOAA, MAIFE, The University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography National Geographic Society, National Geographic Channel and JASON Foundation for Education. The broadcast and intercom technology tying these facilities together will be from RTS & Telex, assisting with every detail from the unprecedented live underwater transmissions from Titanic’s wreck site, to the communications between the crew on land and at sea. more…
RTS Cronus is a 32-port digital matrix intercom in 2RU. Based upon an advanced DSP architecture, Cronus has the ability to link up to a maximum of four units to form a single 128 port matrix system. Through the use of standard video coaxial cable, the individual Cronus units can be located hundreds of meters apart, and still appear as a single matrix. When connected as a single matrix, the individual Cronus control remains autonomous and independent at each matrix for the highest reliability. more…
Las Vegas, NV RTS will be introducing the VKP Virtual Keypanel at this year’s NAB, Booth #C-9106.
Running on any Windows-based PC (laptop or desktop), the Virtual Keypanel allows any user to have a fully functioning RTS Matrix User Station without any additional hardware required by the user.
The keypanel program connects via the PC’s Ethernet jack to any path that can support standard IP protocols, including LAN, WAN, VPN, or even an access point to the Internet.

Desktop, rackmount, and handset models are available. Employing the latest in DSP audio processing and enhanced menus, the panels are fully programmable and supported on the full line of RTS Matrix Intercoms.
The User Stations continue RTS’s commitment to the Japanese and world markets, following on the success of the first Katakana language panels introduced at NAB 2000.
